1. EXPLORE IT!
In today’s Gospel, Jesus says whoever loves Him, will keep His word and God the Father will love and stay in that person. Jesus promises to send the Holy Spirit to guide and remind those who love Him of what He teaches. Jesus also promises that He will leave God’s peace for those who keep His Word.
2. CONNECT IT!
Jesus reminds us in today’s Gospel that by loving Him and listening and following His teachings, we will discover the truth and find peace. Do you feel at peace when you experience the truth from God’s word? Do you experience the truth from God’s word? When your heart is troubled or afraid, seek the Word of God, and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to God’s peace. Jesus asks you to love Him by keeping His word and follow His teaching. He always invites you to put your faith, hope, in Him so that peace of God may be dwell in you.
3. REMEMBER IT!
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you.” (John 14:27)
4. LIVE IT!
Truthfulness — Telling or being in the habit of telling the truth. It is critical to always tell the truth or the truth will tell on you. practice living a simple life by telling the truth daily.
This week, pay careful attention to whatever you say. Write down why speaking the truth is important to you.
5. PRAY IT!
Lord Jesus, give us the wisdom and understanding to be true advocates of Your word. Help us to recognise the truth in Your teachings and to share them honestly and sincerely with those around us. Left Your light shine through us, so others can see that Your truth is key to living a holy life. Amend.
